Terms & Conditions
Last updated October 5, 2026
These terms explain the rules for buying, selling, bidding and chatting on Snagly. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to them.
#01
Who can use Snagly
- You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live, to create an account, list items or make purchases.
- You can browse Snagly as a guest without an account. Buying, selling, chatting, bidding and saving items require a verified account.
- You must give accurate information when you sign up and keep it up to date, including your name, email or phone number, and any address or bank details you add.
#02
Your account
- Accounts are verified with a one-time code sent by email or SMS. You can also sign in with Google or Apple where available.
- You are responsible for keeping your password safe and for everything that happens under your account. Tell us through Contact Us in the app if you think your account has been compromised.
- One person may not operate multiple accounts to get around a restriction, manipulate auctions or abuse rewards.
#03
Listing items
- Sellers can list items for sale, rent or exchange, and may run giveaways, flash sales, live auctions and live-stream selling sessions.
- Listings must describe the item honestly, including its condition, and use photos of the actual item. You must own the item or be authorised to sell it.
- You may not list items that are illegal, stolen, counterfeit, recalled or otherwise prohibited, or any item whose sale breaks the law where you or the buyer are located.
- Property, vehicle, pet, medical and event listings may be subject to additional local rules. Sellers are responsible for complying with them.
#04
Offers, auctions and purchases
- An offer is a request to buy at a stated price. A sale is agreed only when the seller accepts the offer, or when you place the winning bid when an auction ends.
- Bids in a live auction are binding. Do not place a bid you do not intend to pay for.
- Payments are made by card inside the app and processed by our payment provider, Stripe. Snagly does not store your full card number.
- Snagly is a marketplace that connects buyers and sellers. Unless we say otherwise, the contract of sale is between the buyer and the seller, and the seller is responsible for the item and its delivery.
#05
Shipping, payouts and rewards
- Sellers can buy prepaid shipping labels in the app and must ship items promptly and as described.
- Payouts are sent to the bank account the seller adds. Payouts may be held while we review a dispute, a report or suspected fraud.
- Loyalty points are earned for activity such as purchases, referrals and ratings. Points have no cash value, cannot be transferred, and may be removed if they were earned through abuse.
#06
Acceptable use
- Treat other users with respect in chat, live streams and ratings. Harassment, hate speech, threats, spam and scams are not allowed.
- Do not move a transaction off Snagly to avoid fees or protections, share another person's personal information, or post misleading ratings.
- Do not interfere with the app, scrape it, or use bots to bid, list or message.
#07
Reports, blocking and enforcement
- You can block or report any user or listing from chat. We review reports and may remove content, cancel listings or orders, or restrict accounts.
- Serious or repeated violations can lead to permanent suspension. We may also cooperate with law enforcement where required.
#08
Liability, termination and changes
- Snagly is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, we are not responsible for the quality, safety or legality of items listed, or for the conduct of buyers and sellers.
- You can stop using Snagly and request account deletion at any time. We may suspend or end access if you break these terms.
- We may update these terms as the app changes. If the changes are significant we will tell you in the app, and continuing to use Snagly means you accept the updated terms.
- Questions about these terms can be sent through Contact Us in the app.
